Box Tops Collection; Candelight Luncheon Volunteers; Used Books Needed; Read Across America

Jump Rope for the Heart. The Kingsley Community raised over $5,000 last Friday to donate to this great cause!

Box Tops & Soup Label Collection. Keep clipping Kingsley families! Our next Box Top submission deadline is fast approaching on March 1, 2013. Our goal is to collect 3,000 Box Tops for the next submission. Send in your Box Tops and Campbell Soup labels to school now and place them in the marked container in the Parent Headquarters across from the office.

Candelight luncheon volunteers needed on February 14. Need to get your volunteer hours in? Contact  jenny_mac@bellsouth.net.

Donate Used Books of all kinds for the upcoming used book sale that raises money for Kingsley Charter School. Collection bins are located in the hallway at the school.

Read Across America week begins February 25. Wear a special item each day.  More info.

Six Flags Read to SucceedStudents who complete six hours of recreational reading earn free tickets to Six Flags! Forms went home in the couriers and are due to homeroom teachers on Friday, February 22.

STEM Learning for your child: 
Georgia Tech’s K.I.D.S. Club Dates Still Open for 3/9
Georgia Tech’s K.I.D.S. Club is a program designed to enhance and encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for science, mathematics, engineering and technology (STEM!). Students in grades 2nd-5th are invited to join our student-centered, hands-on discovery sessions on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon. During each meeting, students will rotate and experience three different hour long activities. Previous activities have included: Water Rocketry, Electromagnets, Sound Sandwich, Chemical Magic, Lemon Battery, and many more.
