Your Weekly Kingsley eNews

ONLY ONE MORE DAY! Order your yearbook now and purchase a PDA to celebrate your child!

We still need a few more yearbook purchases to meet our minimum order requirement - ORDER YOURS NOW to ensure you get one! There is no guarantee that extra books will be available at the end of the year as in the past. To order, turn in a $30 cash or check made out to Kingsley Charter Foundation. Send in money and your completed order form (click here to download) to front office in an envelope clearly marked with "Attention: Yearbook."  While you are at it, place your order for a personal ad. Kids LOVE the Public Displays of Affection (PDAs) section because it contains personal messages from their parents with message about how proud they are of them and congratulating them on their accomplishments--what kid doesn't like to hear that they are special? PDAs are available in various sizes with the smallest beginning at 1/8 of a page for $15. To place your order, send an email to Allegra Johnson at ajwigwam@bellsouth.net containing your PDA message with the picture you'd like to include. Orders for PDAs are due by Friday, January 27, and all layouts must be turned in by Monday, January 30. If you have questions about the yearbook or PDAs, please contact Allegra Johnson at
ajwigwam@bellsouth.net

Volunteers Needed to Spread Mulch at Kingsley

If you like to work outside and need to fulfill some volunteer hours, please bring a pitch fork/rake/shovel and wheelbarrow to the "forest area" (this is the wooded area to the south and west of the school) any time and help spread the mulch that someone has dumped there.  We want to replenish the mulch in the pathway first, then we can add more to the outdoor classroom in that same area.  If we do not spread the mulch soon the county will come collect it.  Questions?  Contact Amanda Hensley 404-630-6932.

Volunteers and Drink Donations Still Needed for Jump Rope for Heart on Friday 2/3
Next Friday, February 3, Kingsley students will participate in the annual Jump Rope for Heart event. The kids have got the rope jumping down pat. Now we just need your help with donations of water or Gatorade for the kids to drink after jumping. We also still need a few parents to help out during the activity! Please contact Ana Murphy at 404-272-0238 or via email at Ad_89@bellsouth.net if you are able to do either or both! Thanks so much!

Where are all your Box Tops and Soup Labels? In your pantry? Taped to a collection sheet on the fridge?

Time to send them to school with your student! With our next submission fast approaching, it is time to drop off all your Campbell Soup Labels and Box Tops. Look for the new plastic bin in the Parent Room - you can drop both items in the same box. Our new bin has a blue top with a big hole for all those Box Tops and Soup Labels!
