Kudos to Kingsley's Destination Imagination Teams
Three teams from Kingsley Charter Elementary School competed at the Georgia Destination Imagination Tournament this past Saturday at Duluth High School. One of Kingsley's teams, the DI Doughnuts, placed second at the State Tournament, qualifying them for the Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee later this spring.
How involved will you be next year?
It takes volunteers in many different roles with varying passions, skills, and availability to make Kingsley the special school that it is. How will you get involved? Here are two ways to consider:
- Charter Council. Three parent positions will be elected for two year terms. Nomination forms will go home on April 4 and be due back by April 18.
- Action Team Chairs. Six action teams make things happen! Each team is chaired by someone with a passion for making a difference.
Learn more about the Charter Council and the Action Teams here. If you have questions or would like to explore ways to get involved, email the Council at council@kingsleycharter.org.
Dunwoody Charter Cluster Agenda Item at Upcoming Charter Council Meeting
Jim Redovian and Pam Tallmadge will be guests at the next Kingsley Charter Council meeting on April 2 at 5:00 p.m. in the media center. They will discuss the letter of intent that is being circulated for signature among Dunwoody Cluster school councils. This letter of intent opens the door to start the conversation of the possibility of developing a petition to be a charter cluster in Dunwoody.
