Kingsley Weekly News

Kingsley Campus Work Day Sat. 4/20, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Please mark your calendar and plan to join us on Saturday, 4/20 for a spring cleanup.  At the front entrance we will be planting, weeding, and spreading pine straw.  We'll also work in the Learning Garden and do general cleanup around campus, including wood chip and ivy removal on the east side.  Please contact amandahensley01@gmail.com if you can help plan or lead one of our projects.

Charter Council Nomination Forms will go home in today's courier and will be due back in two weeks by April 18. Please consider running for Council or taking on another leadership role that matches your passions for Kinglsey.  Email questions to council@kingsleycharter.org.

Night of the Arts is Tonight!
This year, as part of Kingsley's Night of the Arts, Artome will be exhibiting students' artwork in frames in the media center.  The frames are available for purchase for $25.00 ($20.00 each if you are purchasing for more than one of your children).  Only cash or checks will be accepted.  The students have been working very hard to prepare artwork for the hall and media center galleries.  We hope to see you there!  If you cannot attend and wish to purchase your child's frame, please send the funds to Mrs. Agee prior to the show and she will hold your child's artwork for you.

Furniture Donations for Dunwoody Art Festival Pieces Needed
Kingsley is participating in the Dunwoody Art Festival again this year. Ms. Agee and our students will be re-designing chairs into pieces of art that will be auctioned to the highest bidder at the Festival. Please check around the house to see if you have an old chair or small table to donate. It can be a desk or dining chair, a bar or step-stool, a children’s chair, etc. Anything that can be painted. Chairs can be dropped off in Ms. Agee’s room
